Banerjee raised doubts about the spontaneity of the moment, claiming that the entire incident was premeditated. She questioned how cameras were present when the Prime Minister made an unplanned stop during his campaign. 'This is all scripted,' she asserted. She noted that Modi was seen with a ₹10 note in his pocket, asking if anyone could believe that. Banerjee made these remarks while addressing a rally in the Murarai assembly constituency of Birbhum district, without directly naming PM Modi.

PM Modi's Jhalmuri Experience

PM Modi's Jhalmuri Break

During his campaign tour in West Bengal on Sunday, PM Modi made an unscheduled stop in Jhargram, where he enjoyed some Jhalmuri. The local vendors and bystanders were taken aback when the Prime Minister's convoy suddenly halted in front of a small shop, and Modi himself approached the stall to inquire about the price of Jhalmuri. He told the surprised vendor, 'Brother, serve me your Jhalmuri, how much is it? Make it well.' Accompanied by his security detail, Modi insisted that the vendor accept the payment. When the vendor asked if all standard ingredients would be used for the dish, Modi replied, 'Everything, except salt, which I avoid for health reasons.'
