Major Police Raids in Delhi and Haryana Target Gangster Networks

Police Operations Against Criminal Syndicates

In a significant operation early Thursday, law enforcement in Delhi conducted extensive raids targeting criminal hideouts in the national capital and Haryana, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, including the father of incarcerated gangster Neeraj Bawana.


Authorities detained 36 habitual offenders during the operation. The raids yielded a substantial haul, including ₹49.6 lakh in cash, 1.36 kilograms of gold, 14.6 kilograms of silver, a bulletproof Scorpio SUV, a motorcycle, 27 mobile phones, a laptop, seven sophisticated and homemade pistols, a revolver, 40 cartridges, three bore brushes, two cleaning rods, and a knife.


The police indicated that the operation specifically targeted members and associates of gangs led by notorious figures such as Kala Jathedi, Jitendra alias Gogi, Neeraj Bawana, Rajesh Bawana, Tillu Tajpuria, Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu, and Nettu Dabodha.


According to police reports, the arrested individuals include Shaktimaan (34), Vedpal (55), and Prem Singh Sahrawat (67) from the Outer North district, while three others—Vishal alias Beheda alias Ankit, Hariom alias Ankit, and Naveen—were apprehended in the Rohini district. Notably, Sahrawat is the father of Neeraj Bawana, who is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail.
