Significant Development Projects Unveiled in Jaipur


Jaipur. On June 24, 2026, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced a series of substantial development projects for his constituency, Sanganer. The initiative includes the inauguration and foundation laying of 1,538 development projects, with a total investment exceeding ₹631 crores.


This extensive development program focuses on enhancing infrastructure in Sanganer, including roads, healthcare, sewage systems, sanitation, and other essential services.


1,350 Projects Completed, 188 New Initiatives Launched


During the event, over ₹208 crores were allocated for the inauguration of 1,350 completed projects, while the foundation was laid for 188 new projects costing more than ₹422 crores.


Relief from Traffic Congestion with New Flyover


To address traffic issues at the Muhana Mor junction on the Jaipur-Bhilwara road, a flyover project costing ₹124 crores was initiated. This development is expected to improve traffic management in the area.


Strengthening Sewage and STP Projects


An investment of over ₹88 crores has been made to enhance the sewage system in the Bambala area, which includes a sewage treatment plant (STP) and main trunk line project.


Expansion of Healthcare Facilities


The foundation stone for a trauma center in Bhankrota and a satellite hospital in Prithviraj Nagar was laid during the event, promising to bolster medical services in surrounding regions.


Modernizing Sanitation Services


To upgrade Jaipur's sanitation services, five advanced mechanical litter picker machines and super sucker machines for sewage cleaning were inaugurated.


Property Rights for Villagers


The program also saw the distribution of ownership cards (patta) to rural residents, granting them legal rights to their properties. So far, over 14 lakh ownership cards have been issued across approximately 8,000 villages through drone surveys.


Major Announcement for Jaipur Metro Phase-2


Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also shared significant news regarding Jaipur Metro Phase-2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for this project, costing over ₹13,000 crores, on July 4, 2026. This initiative is seen as a crucial step to meet the growing transportation needs of Jaipur.
