The attacker, identified as Jaib Ansari, assaulted the victims, Rajkumar Mishra and Subrato Sen, at a construction site in the Asmita Grand Mansion complex in Naya Nagar, Mira Road East. The confrontation escalated into violence, resulting in injuries to both guards. Tensions rose in the area as rumors of a religious angle began to circulate. The Thane ATS arrived at the scene to restore order, while local police transported the injured to the hospital.
