Madhya Pradesh Welcomes President Droupadi Murmu: A Source of Pride and Inspiration

President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Madhya Pradesh has been marked by a warm welcome from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and other officials. Her itinerary includes observing the cheetah rehabilitation program and participating in initiatives addressing sickle cell disease and anemia. The visit, spanning from June 18 to June 22, features various events, including the International Sickle Cell Day celebrations and the International Yoga Day. This visit is seen as a significant moment for the state, inspiring pride among its citizens.
 

President Murmu's Visit to Madhya Pradesh

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, warmly welcomed President Droupadi Murmu during her visit to the state on Thursday, highlighting the significance of her presence as a source of pride and inspiration for both the citizens and the government. After greeting the President at Indore Airport, Yadav spoke to reporters, mentioning that he was joined by Governor Mangubhai Patel, Ministers Kailash Vijayvargiya and Tulsi Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, and other representatives in welcoming President Murmu upon her arrival.


Yadav expressed, "We are honored to welcome President Droupadi Murmu to Madhya Pradesh. Along with Governor Mangubhai Patel, our ministers, and other legislators, we are proud to host her. It is a privilege for us that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the President and other central ministers participate in our government initiatives, which fills us with pride." The Chief Minister also noted his delight that the President would witness the progress of the cheetah rehabilitation program during her visit.


He added, "I am pleased that President Droupadi Murmu is here to observe the success of the cheetah project. She will also participate in a program aimed at outlining the government's strategies to tackle challenges related to sickle cell disease and anemia. On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, I extend a warm welcome to President Murmu and hope her visit serves as a source of enthusiasm and inspiration for all of us." President Murmu's tour of Madhya Pradesh and Odisha is scheduled from June 18 to June 22.


On June 18, she will attend a program organized by the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University in Betul, focusing on empowering tribal communities through spiritual awakening.


On June 19, the President will participate in the International Sickle Cell Day celebrations in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. That same day, she will inaugurate a medical camp organized by AIIMS Bhubaneswar and several development projects in Odisha, including a major integrated rural piped water supply scheme for mining-affected villages in Kusumi Block, the Brahma Kumaris' Maatrushakti Bhavan, and a special circuit house and police facility in Rairangpur.


On June 20, President Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit various locations in Pahadpur, including a school and a skill center, where they will interact with beneficiaries and children. Later, they will attend a public event in Rairangpur. On June 21, the President will participate in the International Yoga Day celebrations in Jabalpur and also attend the 36th convocation ceremony of Rani Durgavati University.
