On Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh's Sports Minister, Vishwas Sarang, met with Vivek Sagar, who won a gold medal at the Asian Games, and Jay Meena, who secured a bronze in soft tennis, in Bhopal.


Vivek Sagar's Commitment to Injury Prevention

After the meeting, Vivek Sagar shared his excitement about winning his second consecutive medal. He expressed gratitude towards the Sports Minister for the recognition he received in Bhopal. Sagar emphasized the importance of focusing on his health, stating, "I am thrilled to have achieved a second medal and grateful to be honored here. My priority is to progress gradually while avoiding injuries and maintaining my physical strength."

Soft tennis athlete Jay Meena acknowledged the vital role of his parents, mentors, and government support in achieving a historic medal for India. Looking forward to the 2030 Commonwealth Games, which will be hosted in India, he expressed optimism about the Indian team's potential success.
