Madhya Pradesh Murder Case: Wife and Lover Conspire to Kill Husband
Murder Case Unveils Dark Secrets
In a shocking incident from the Rajod police station area in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district, the murder of chili trader Devkrishna Purohit reveals the hidden darkness within relationships. This case is not merely about a homicide; it unfolds a narrative filled with taunts, illicit affairs, and a premeditated conspiracy. The revelations from the police investigation have left the entire community in shock.
According to the victim's sister, the relationship between Devkrishna and his wife Priyanka had been strained for a long time. Priyanka frequently insulted Devkrishna, expressing her unhappiness with comments like, 'You are dark-skinned.' Such remarks poisoned their relationship, leading to frequent disputes that left Devkrishna under immense mental stress.
Suspicious Behavior Noted by Sister
The sister informed the police that Priyanka's behavior had been suspicious for quite some time. She maintained distance from her husband, spent hours talking on her mobile, and often quarreled over trivial matters. On several occasions, she mentioned divorce but later dismissed it as something said in anger.
Revelation of an Illicit Affair
The police investigation uncovered that Priyanka had been in a long-term relationship with Kamlesh Purohit from Rajgarh. This affair led them to plot against Devkrishna. During questioning, it was revealed that Kamlesh had paid his accomplice Surendra Bhati one lakh rupees to carry out the murder, with 50,000 rupees already disbursed.
Conspiracy Hatched at Night
On the night of April 7, the conspirators left the house door open. They then entered and attacked the sleeping Devkrishna with a sharp weapon, resulting in his death. To mislead the police and destroy evidence, they ransacked the house and attempted to stage the incident as a robbery.
Police Unravel the Web of Lies
After the incident, inconsistencies emerged in Priyanka's statements during police questioning. A thorough interrogation, along with mobile call records and technical evidence, led to the exposure of the entire conspiracy. The police have arrested Priyanka and her lover Kamlesh, while the hired killer Surendra Bhati remains at large.
Authorities have also recovered the alleged stolen items from the house. Additionally, an investigation is underway to determine if Devkrishna was administered any narcotic substances before his death, with a viscera test being conducted. The police stated that the search for the fugitive is ongoing, and he will be apprehended soon.
