Launch of the Public Trust Campaign

Chhindwara, August 7 - The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, inaugurated the 'Chief Minister Public Trust Campaign' on Friday. During a public hearing held at the collector's office, he suspended three officials due to allegations of negligence.

Immediate Actions Taken Against Officials

Yadav stated that under the Public Trust Campaign, elected representatives will engage directly with citizens in their respective areas. During the public hearing, the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Naresh Gunaade, a local tehsildar, and a patwari were suspended on the spot for alleged dereliction of duty.

Salary Increments Halted for Certain Officials

The Chief Minister also ordered the suspension of salary increments for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chaurai Panchayat and the labor officer. He highlighted a case where a woman named Manvati Verma had not received funeral assistance and financial aid under a government scheme despite complaining to the Chief Minister's helpline for four years.

Addressing Land Record Issues

In another instance, instructions were given to issue a show-cause notice to the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Chaurai and the concerned patwari for failing to rectify land records for an individual named Govind Nayak.

Complaints Regarding Fisheries Scheme

A woman named Bhavna Dehariya raised a complaint about not receiving grants under the Prime Minister's Fisheries Scheme. In response, Yadav directed officials to take prompt action to ensure the benefits of the scheme are made available as per regulations.

Engagement with Local Stakeholders

Prior to these announcements, the Chief Minister inspected the public service center at the Chhindwara collector's office and engaged in discussions with entrepreneurs, local representatives, and citizens about regional development, industrial potential, and progress.

Regular Public Courts to be Held

Yadav announced that 'Janata Darbar' will be held every Friday at the district and tehsil levels, attended by ministers, legislators, collectors, and divisional commissioners. He emphasized that no official meetings will be scheduled on Fridays. Yadav claimed that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to initiate such a campaign.

Promoting Sustainable Practices

The Chief Minister mentioned that his government is promoting natural farming, animal husbandry, and rural tourism through initiatives like homestays, which will create new employment opportunities.
