In preparation for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Sanjiv Goenka, the owner of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), along with team captain Rishabh Pant, visited the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. After their prayers at the temple, Goenka expressed, "Offering prayers to Lord Ram is never enough, and with the IPL season approaching, all players have prayed here... With Lord Ram's blessings, everything aligns perfectly."

This visit was part of the team's pre-season activities aimed at seeking divine blessings before the prestigious tournament. Goenka and Pant were joined by select members of the LSG management during this significant occasion.

In an interview with JioStar, Pant remarked, "The camp with the fast bowlers has been fantastic. Bharat Arun sir has joined us, and since his arrival, he has contributed significantly. Under Pant's leadership, LSG will kick off their campaign against Delhi Capitals on April 1, followed by matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5, Kolkata Knight Riders on April 9, and Gujarat Titans on April 12. The defending champions, RCB, will open the tournament against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
