The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in Delhi, the National Capital Region (NCR), and parts of western Uttar Pradesh within the next few hours. Areas such as Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Rohini, Badli, Model Town, Azadpur, Delhi University, Civil Lines, Seelampur, Shahdara, Vivek Vihar, and Deramandi may experience light drizzles. Similar weather conditions are anticipated in NCR regions including Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Noida, Dadri, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ballabgarh.

In western Uttar Pradesh, light rain is also likely in areas such as Modinagar, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Moradabad, Rampur, and Sambhal. This rainfall is expected to be light and sporadic, providing some relief from the current heat, with minor fluctuations in temperature and visibility. The regional meteorological center in New Delhi has categorized all districts under a green warning, indicating minimal impact. Additionally, the IMD has issued a storm warning for several districts in Uttar Pradesh and neighboring areas. The IMD stated: 'There is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning and moderate rain or hail in districts such as Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Hathras, Kasganj, Kannauj, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Pilibhit, and Badaun, with wind speeds ranging from 40 to 60 km/h.'
