Legal Literacy Camp Held at Chinar Palace

A legal literacy camp took place at Chinar Palace in Banikhet, organized by the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee of Dalhousie. The event was led by Additional District and Sessions Judge Ramanik Sharma.
The camp focused on the themes of “Drug-Free Society, India’s Resolve, Environmental Protection, Conservation of Natural Resources, and Rehabilitation of Disaster Victims.”
Judge's Message to the Youth
Judge Ramanik Sharma addressed the attendees, encouraging the youth to avoid drugs and strive for a promising future, thus steering society positively. He pointed out that addiction not only harms individuals but also undermines the community as a whole.
He stated that anyone contributing to a drug-free environment and protecting the ecosystem is a true patriot. Sharma highlighted the environmental imbalance as a factor in recent disasters and called for personal accountability in preserving nature and society. He cautioned that the rise in substance abuse is damaging moral values and urged young people to refrain from drugs and avoid those who partake in them.
Recognition of Participants
During the event, participants were recognized by the chief guest. Chief Judicial Magistrate Nikhil Agrawal also attended. Judicial Magistrate and Chairperson of the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Dalhousie, Divya Sharma, honored the chief guest with a shawl and cap.
