Mind Tree School has been operating on the IIT Mandi campus since 2017, established after IIT Mandi issued a public notice inviting reputable educational institutions to create a CBSE-affiliated school. Following necessary approvals, including from the Board of Governors, the school began its operations under a 33-year lease agreement.


Changes After 2022

The school management reports that everything was functioning well until 2022, when a new School Managing Committee (SMC) was formed. Although the SMC is intended to provide advisory support, the management claims that certain IIT Mandi representatives began to interfere with daily administrative operations.
