KTR's Strong Rebuttal to CM Revanth Reddy

On Thursday, K.T. Rama Rao, the executive president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), launched a fierce attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for using derogatory language against BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao. In a post on X, KTR stated that Reddy belongs in the gutter, emphasizing that his words are filled with filth. He remarked that one could attend a 500-day course at Harvard, but without learning culture, one would remain as twisted as a dog's tail. KCR has worked tirelessly for Telangana, leading movements, achieving statehood, and becoming the first chief minister, paving the way for a prosperous Telangana.

KTR's Remarks on Political Conduct

KTR further asserted that those who speak ill of others should find their place in the gutter. He criticized individuals who cannot govern and resort to spreading venom during election campaigns, labeling it as a sign of arrogance and utter incompetence. He stated that one cannot belittle a person who shapes history with mere words. The BRS executive president added that using foul language reveals one's mental poverty. He emphasized that placing a dog on a golden throne does not make it a lion, as it disrespects the throne itself. He reminded that those who fought for statehood have no moral right to speak against it, asserting that Reddy's words cannot tarnish KCR's legacy.

Context of the Controversy

This statement came in response to Revanth Reddy's allegations of severe privacy violations by the previous BRS government in a phone tapping case. Reddy questioned whether anyone would eavesdrop on conversations between spouses, pointing out that judges, journalists, opposition leaders, couples, and film stars were also not spared. He questioned KCR's involvement in private conversations, asking if he is even human and if he has the right to be born as one. Reddy also mentioned that notices have been issued by the police regarding this matter.

Further Accusations by Reddy

Reddy expressed disbelief over how notices were sent to the father of the nation, questioning the community affiliations of those involved. He asked about the identities within Reddy's community, specifically mentioning individuals like Vinod Rao, Erraballi, and Krishna, implying that Reddy might consider himself the patriarch of his community. He concluded by stating that people like Reddy have become the father of the nation while eavesdropping on private conversations.
