This landmark game could also see KL achieving the remarkable feat of 10,000 runs, as he is just 35 runs shy of this milestone. If he accomplishes this, he will become the 15th Indian cricketer to reach this prestigious five-figure mark in international cricket. Currently, KL has amassed 9,965 runs across 241 matches and 280 innings for India, boasting an average of 40.50, with 22 centuries and 63 fifties, and a highest score of 199.

Over the years, KL has transformed into an invaluable asset for the ODI team, adeptly fulfilling various roles.
