The Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Khadse, praised the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2025 during its closing ceremony. Chandigarh University Retains Championship Title

Chandigarh University successfully defended its title at the Khelo India University Games, showcasing exceptional talent in Canoe and Kayaking. The 12-day multi-sport event concluded at Poornima University, with Chandigarh University leading the medal tally, amassing a total of 67 medals: 42 gold, 14 silver, and 11 bronze. Lovely Professional University (LPU) secured the runner-up position with 32 gold, 25 silver, and 22 bronze medals, while Guru Nanak Dev University finished in third place.
