Khan Sir Seeks Anticipatory Bail Amid Controversy Over Coaching Center Incident
Khan Sir's Legal Battle Begins
Faisal Khan, widely recognized as "Khan Sir," has filed for anticipatory bail in a Patna court on Saturday. His name emerged in an FIR related to vandalism at his coaching center. According to his attorney, the esteemed educator has been implicated in a scheme orchestrated by the director of a rival coaching institution. This incident follows an alleged attack by a group of 15-20 individuals at the Khan Global Studies Institute, which reportedly occurred on Tuesday night.
Subsequently, on Thursday, June 4, police detained two guards from Khan's coaching center for allegedly firing during the vandalism incident. Their arrest came after a viral video surfaced, showing the guards discharging their weapons.
Details of the Incident
Sources indicate that during questioning, the guards claimed they fired on Khan's orders. They asserted that the shooting was a response to a brawl outside the coaching center, which escalated as a crowd gathered. Arvind Kumar Mawar, Khan's lawyer, stated that the guards fired warning shots for safety and that no injuries occurred. He contended that Khan's name was wrongfully included in the FIR as part of a conspiracy to frame and defame him. Mawar confirmed that they would be filing for anticipatory bail.
Khan's Response to Allegations
The attorney further mentioned that the guards acted in self-defense. Following the vandalism, Khan had alleged that individuals from the rival coaching center were behind the shooting. However, he later acknowledged that the confirmation of whether shots were fired could only be determined through a police investigation.
