Patna, July 13: In a significant development, the Patna Civil Court has granted anticipatory bail to Faisal Khan, commonly referred to as 'Khan Sir', in connection with a violent incident involving coaching centers in the Musallahpur area of Patna.

The court's decision also extends to three staff members from Khan Global Studies, who were similarly granted anticipatory bail.

Additionally, two security guards previously arrested and held in Beur Jail have been released on bail.

This case originated from a violent altercation that took place on the night of June 2, 2026, near various coaching institutes in Musallahpur.

Reports indicate that a group of approximately 15 to 20 individuals entered Khan Global Studies, causing damage to property and physically assaulting those present.

During the chaos, one of Khan Sir's security guards reportedly sustained a head injury.

Authorities allege that in an attempt to disperse the aggressive crowd, two of Khan Sir's guards discharged their firearms into the air.

An FIR was filed at Kadamkuan Police Station, and Khan Sir's name was later included in the case after a video surfaced, allegedly showing him urging the guards to fire.

The accused sought anticipatory bail due to fears of arrest related to the assault and firing incident.

After considering arguments from both sides, the court approved the anticipatory bail request.

The two security guards, Pradeep Kumar and Talebar Singh, who were in judicial custody, have also been granted bail.

Earlier in the investigation, Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching, along with two associates, was arrested but later released on bail.

Authorities have raised questions regarding the legality of the firearms used by Khan Sir's guards, noting that while the weapons were licensed in Uttar Pradesh, they lacked the necessary authorization for security operations in Bihar.

The incident reportedly stemmed from a rivalry between Khan Global Studies and Gyan Bindu Coaching.

Investigators are currently looking into the allegations of assault, vandalism, and the circumstances surrounding the discharge of weapons by the security personnel.

With this recent court ruling, Khan Sir has received temporary protection from arrest as the criminal investigation continues.
