Gopal Khemka Murder Case: A pivotal turn has occurred in the murder case of businessman and BJP leader Gopal Khemka, as the main suspect was shot dead during a police encounter on Tuesday. The Bihar Police confirmed this incident through an official announcement. The suspect, identified as Vikas, also known as Raja, was killed near Damaiya ghat around 2:45 AM. Authorities recovered a pistol, a bullet, and a cartridge from the scene.
The Bihar Police have reported that the body of the deceased has been sent to Nalanda Medical College in Patna for a post-mortem examination.
In related news, JD(U) leader Rajeev Ranjan commented on the killing of the suspect in Khemka's murder case. He emphasized that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is closely overseeing the situation.
Ranjan stated, “According to the information we have, the police have killed a suspect in the Khemka murder case who attempted to attack them. Nitish Kumar ji is monitoring every incident.”
Gopal Khemka was tragically murdered on the night of July 4, outside his home in Patna. The incident, which took place near the Gandhi Maidan South area around 11 PM, shocked the state. He sustained gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene. Police recovered a bullet and a shell casing from the crime scene. Khemka, a resident of the Twin Tower society, was ambushed by an unidentified gunman while returning home.

Gopal Khemka was a prominent businessman in Bihar, known for owning Magadh Hospital and his involvement in various social organizations. In a tragic turn of events, his son Gunjan was also murdered in 2018 in the Hajipur industrial area.
