Kejriwal's Strong Critique of the Central Government

The national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, launched a fierce attack on the central government on Monday, calling for the immediate dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Citing alleged irregularities in the CBSE evaluation process and the recent NEET-UG controversy, Kejriwal labeled the minister as incompetent and ineffective. In a video message posted on social media, he expressed deep concern for the future of millions of students, claiming that a "major scam" has emerged in the evaluation of CBSE exams.

Allegations of a Major Scam

Kejriwal asserted that a significant scam has been uncovered in the CBSE evaluation process. He insisted that Prime Minister Modi should promptly remove Dharmendra Pradhan from his position, stating that he is unfit to serve even for a moment as the education minister. Following previous irregularities in NEET, the recent revelations in the CBSE evaluation process have raised serious concerns. The AAP leader also highlighted the mental trauma these controversies have inflicted on the youth and their families. Millions of Class 12 students across the country are reportedly suffering from extreme stress and depression, with their parents also experiencing deep distress.

Students Demand Manual Re-evaluation

Students are calling for a manual re-evaluation process for those who request it, the waiver of re-evaluation fees, and the complete abolition of the on-screen marking (OSM) process.

Critique of Technical Flaws

Kejriwal also criticized the technical shortcomings of the education department, sharing an anecdote about a friend's daughter who struggled to log in after 40 attempts due to a malfunctioning payment gateway and blurry scanned documents. He questioned how such issues could contribute to making India a nation of the 21st century, expressing that those responsible should feel ashamed. Concluding his message with a direct appeal to the Prime Minister, Kejriwal urged that no child in the country should suffer due to an "incompetent and ineffective" education minister, demanding Pradhan's immediate dismissal.
