Clarification from KSRTC on Bus Operations

Thiruvananthapuram, July 28 - The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has dismissed rumors circulating on social media regarding the large-scale cancellation of bus services and disruptions in operations. In a statement released late Monday night, KSRTC confirmed that its bus services were running as usual, with a total of 4,371 bus trips conducted that day. This figure is 16 more than the 4,355 trips made on the same day the previous week.


The state-run corporation also mentioned that 376 additional buses were on standby across various depots on Monday. KSRTC clarified that there is no operational crisis and that no significant bus services have been canceled. The corporation urged the public to avoid falling for misleading information and to rely solely on official updates regarding bus operations.


Additionally, the state's transport minister, C.P. John, also refuted the claims about bus service cancellations on the same day.
