Reports suggest that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to resign and meet with Congress leadership and Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi today. There are discussions that the party leadership has offered him a Rajya Sabha seat to transition into national politics, a proposal he may decline as he reportedly has no interest in moving to central politics.

Siddaramaiah's Meeting with Rahul Gandhi

According to sources, after submitting his resignation, Siddaramaiah plans to travel to New Delhi and has requested a meeting with Rahul Gandhi. It is reported that he wishes to personally thank Gandhi for the discussions regarding leadership changes within the Congress party.
