A solemn ceremony was held in Kandwal, Nurpur Tehsil, to mark the 27th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event saw the participation of Nurpur MLA Ranbir Singh Nikka and Kangra MP Rajiv Bhardwaj, alongside retired military personnel and notable local figures.

During the event, MP Rajiv Bhardwaj reflected on the valor displayed by the martyrs, stating that the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the Kargil War compelled the Pakistani forces to retreat.
