On Thursday, Kamal Nath, a senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, refuted claims regarding a shortage of gas and LPG, stating that such reports have been exaggerated. Speaking to reporters in Chhindwara, Nath asserted that there is no actual shortage, suggesting that a false narrative has been created to instill a sense of scarcity.

Recently, several Congress leaders have criticized the central government over fuel management, warning about the pressures on supply chains due to escalating tensions in West Asia.

Contrasting Views Within Congress

Nath's remarks appear to diverge from the broader stance of the Indian National Congress, which has expressed concerns about disruptions in fuel supply and rising prices in light of the ongoing crisis in West Asia.
