Jordan's Air Defenses Successfully Intercept Iranian Missiles Amid US Strikes
Jordan's Defense Forces Act Against Iranian Threat
Jordan's military successfully intercepted five missiles that were launched from Iran early Thursday morning, as reported by the country's state-run Petra news agency. The spokesperson for the armed forces confirmed that there were no reported injuries or fatalities from this incident. This defensive action follows a series of significant airstrikes conducted by the US military targeting Iranian positions, which were a direct response to a previous missile attack on a US base located in Jordan. According to Central Command, the US forces executed strikes on numerous sites associated with Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps over a span of more than two hours, targeting military command centers, missile and drone facilities, as well as coastal defense and surveillance installations.
