Capdevila's Plea for Assistance

Former Spanish footballer Joan Capdevila has reached out to President Donald Trump for help after being denied entry into the United States. This incident occurred just before the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup final, where Spain is set to face Argentina.

Capdevila expressed his desire to reunite with his teammates from the 2010 World Cup victory and support the current Spanish squad. He voiced his disappointment over missing this significant event. To enter the U.S. without a visa, travelers must obtain ESTA approval.

"I NEED HELP @realDonaldTrump. I was just informed that I can't attend the final with my children due to my ESTA being denied. Can anyone assist me with this? You have no idea how thrilled I was to be there with my 2010 teammates and this team to cheer them on. I can't believe I'm being denied entry into the USA... and that I'll miss this moment with my kids who adore soccer. If anyone knows how to resolve this, I would be eternally grateful," Capdevila shared in a social media post.

¡NECESITO AYUDA @realDonaldTrump!

World Cup Final: Spain vs Argentina

The World Cup final featuring Spain and Argentina is scheduled to take place at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday (local time).

Spain has demonstrated their prowess by advancing to the final after a remarkable journey, overcoming an initial draw against Cape Verde to secure six consecutive victories.

La Roja has only conceded a single goal throughout the tournament and reached the final following a decisive 2-0 win over France in the semi-finals.

Spain aims to clinch their second FIFA World Cup title, 16 years after their memorable win in 2010, while Argentina seeks to become the first team since Brazil in 1962 to successfully defend their title.
