Avni Kejriwal from Ranchi, Jharkhand, has stunned everyone by scoring a perfect 500 out of 500 in the CBSE 12th board examination for 2026. With this remarkable achievement, she has secured a place among the top scorers in the commerce stream across the country. Initially, she received a score of 95.2% on the results announced on May 13, prompting her to request a re-evaluation of her answer sheets. Following the re-evaluation, Avni achieved a flawless score of 500.
Confidence in Her Abilities
While Avni's family celebrated her initial score, she had unwavering faith in her hard work throughout the year. Believing her marks could be improved, she bravely applied for re-evaluation. This decision proved to be wise, as she received perfect scores of 100 in all five of her main subjects: English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Applied Mathematics.
Study Strategy and Focus
Sharing her secret to success, Avni explained that she did not count the hours spent studying. Instead, her focus was on completing daily targets. Each day, she would set out to cover 2 to 3 topics and would not rest until she accomplished them. She advised fellow students to limit their social media usage to avoid distractions during their studies. Avni credited her success to her parents, teachers, and mentor, Sachit Sir.
Aspirations for the Future
Avni, daughter of businessman Mitesh Kejriwal and homemaker Poonam Kejriwal, dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. She plans to pursue further studies in business management and has already taken the CUET-UG 2026 exam. The principal of DPS Ranchi, Dr. Jaya Chauhan, congratulated Avni on her significant achievement, stating that her success will inspire thousands of students in Jharkhand to strive for excellence.
