As they prepare for a busy international schedule, he emphasized that the team's focus is now on major tournaments set for next year. Emphasizing Consistency

On a personal note, Jarmanpreet highlighted the necessity of consistency in his performance. He remarked, "My challenge lies in how much more I can contribute to my team, striving to give my best in every match and aiding my team in achieving better results."

SG Pipers' Journey to Redemption

Reflecting on the Hockey India League, Jarmanpreet admitted that the previous season was disappointing for the SG Pipers franchise. The men's team ended up at the bottom of the standings with just five points, mirroring the women's team's performance. He candidly assessed their past season, stating, "Last season was quite poor. Our primary goal this time is to aim for a top-four finish, enhance our attacking strategies, and focus on scoring field goals. This excitement drives us to rise from the bottom to the top." The Hockey India League is set to commence on January 3, with SG Pipers playing their first match on January 5 against HIL GC.

Highlighting Emerging Talent

Jarmanpreet also expressed optimism about the young players poised to make a significant impact for both SG Pipers and the national team. He mentioned, "There are numerous players who have shown promise in the World Cup and can secure their spots in senior teams. Talents like Manmeet Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and several goalkeepers, along with defenders like Rohit and Ankit Pal, are among those who can rise to prominence. We have a wealth of young talent ready to shine."
