She achieved this by decisively defeating Northern Ireland's reigning champion, Michaela Walsh, with a unanimous 5-0 decision in the final match held on Saturday. After her victory, the 24-year-old expressed her joy, stating, "I am feeling very good. I dedicate this medal to the entire nation, coaches, and family."

The win ignited celebrations in her hometown of Bhiwani, Haryana, where her family expressed immense pride. Her father, Jaiveer, shared, "We are very happy that my daughter has made the entire nation proud. She will win a gold medal for the nation in the Olympics also."
