Consumer Rights Case
Consumers have the right to demand repairs, replacements, or refunds from sellers or manufacturers when they receive defective electronic products. If a satisfactory resolution is not achieved, complaints can be filed with the consumer commission based on the facts of the case and applicable legal provisions.
In this instance involving Shalini Singh, the commission's directive for the return of the defective AC and the full refund underscores the importance of legal recourse in protecting consumer rights and addressing disputes related to faulty products.
