Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Reveals Successful Treatment for Early-Stage Prostate Cancer

On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he has successfully undergone treatment for early-stage prostate cancer. He delayed the release of his annual medical report by two months to prevent Iran from spreading false propaganda against Israel during the ongoing conflict. In a post on X, he assured the public of his good health and excellent physical condition. Netanyahu explained that he had a minor medical issue with his prostate, which has now been completely resolved. Prostate cancer originates in the prostate gland, a small walnut-sized organ located just below the bladder, and is a common cancer that is often treatable, especially when detected early.

Netanyahu shared that he has been under regular medical supervision since a successful surgery for an enlarged benign prostate over a year ago. However, during a recent examination, doctors discovered a spot smaller than one centimeter on his prostate. He stated on X that further investigation revealed it was an extremely early stage of a malignant tumor that had not spread or metastasized. The doctors presented him with two options: manage it through regular monitoring, as many do, or opt for targeted treatment to eliminate it completely. He chose the latter option.

Expressing gratitude to the doctors and medical teams at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, he mentioned, “I underwent some minor treatments, read a book, and continued with my work. That spot has completely disappeared.” He concluded his message with prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the ongoing war in the Middle East, which has now entered its eighth week.
