He emphasized that Iran does not need permission to enrich uranium and warned U.S. officials to stop making what he termed 'nonsense' claims. This statement underscores the ongoing tensions between Iran and the U.S. over nuclear capabilities and international negotiations.

Supreme Leader's Strong Stance

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has declared that denying Iran the right to enrich uranium is a significant error. He labeled the American demand to halt uranium enrichment as a major mistake, asserting that Tehran does not require permission from anyone to proceed with its nuclear activities.

In a pointed message, Khamenei warned U.S. officials to cease their 'nonsense' remarks regarding Iran's nuclear program. He emphasized that the claim of preventing Iran from enriching uranium is a serious misjudgment.

Khamenei also indicated that he would soon clarify to the Iranian populace the importance of uranium enrichment and the reasons behind the West's, particularly the U.S.'s, insistence on obstructing this process.
