Iran Opens Strait of Hormuz for Commercial Shipping Amid Ceasefire
Strait of Hormuz Fully Accessible for Trade
Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be fully accessible for commercial vessels. This decision comes in light of the recent ceasefire in Lebanon, allowing all commercial ships to navigate the strait without restrictions. Araghchi emphasized that the passage is now open for the duration of the ceasefire, ensuring safe transit for vessels from various nations.
In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.
