Iran Issues Stern Warning Over Israeli Attacks on Hezbollah
Iran's Strong Stance on Regional Conflicts
Dubai: On Thursday, Iran's parliamentary speaker issued a stark warning regarding ongoing Israeli assaults on Hezbollah in Lebanon, stating that such actions would incur "explicit costs and STRONG responses."
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf conveyed this message via X, echoing sentiments shared by other Iranian officials about a two-week ceasefire that has been reportedly extended to Lebanon, a claim that both Israel and the U.S. have refuted.
"Violations of the ceasefire will lead to explicit and STRONG responses," he stated emphatically. "Put out the fire immediately."
There are discussions surrounding Qalibaf potentially serving as a negotiator to meet U.S. Vice President JD Vance this weekend in Islamabad, Pakistan's capital.
