On Saturday, Tehran refuted statements made by Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, regarding the anticipated US-Iran peace agreement. The Iranian Foreign Ministry indicated that the signing of the memorandum is not scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday). According to Iran's semi-official news outlet, Tasnim, the ministry clarified that the exact timing for the signing will not occur as previously suggested. This announcement follows Sharif's earlier remarks that the electronic signing of the deal was expected within the next 24 hours. In response to Sharif's post on social media, Iran's Foreign Ministry emphasized the need for caution, stating, "The Islamabad memorandum aims to conclude the conflict. Given the unpredictability of the opposing party, we must be careful in our statements regarding this process."
