The Rajasthan Police have commenced an investigation regarding threatening posts made on social media against Punjab Governor Gulabchand Kataria. According to police reports, no formal complaint has yet been filed by Kataria in this matter.


Karni Sena's Response to Kataria's Comments

Raj Shekhawat, the national president of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, expressed his displeasure over Kataria's recent remarks concerning the legacy of Maharana Pratap. In response, he posted a threatening message on social media, urging members of the Karni Sena to take action against Kataria.


Kataria's Remarks on Maharana Pratap's Legacy

During an event in Gogunda, Udaipur district, on December 22, Kataria stated that the legacy of Maharana Pratap was highlighted for the first time under the BJP government. He claimed that financial resources were allocated for the development of areas like Gogunda, Haldighati, and Chavand during that period.


Police Statement on the Ongoing Investigation

Udaipur's Superintendent of Police, Yogesh Goyal, confirmed that the matter has come to their attention and is currently under investigation. He reiterated that, as of now, no formal complaint has been lodged by Kataria.
