The event featured experts from the Brahma Kumaris organization, including Ms. C.K. Jyoti, alongside faculty and students. Dr. Diljit Singh, the Convener of the committees, opened the program by welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the critical need for awareness initiatives to combat the rising issue of drug abuse among young people.

During her address, Ms. C.K. Jyoti discussed the detrimental effects of drug use, the significance of mental health, and the necessity of raising societal awareness. She highlighted the Brahma Kumaris' commitment, in partnership with the government, to educate youth about the perils of drug addiction.

She pointed out that adolescents often face emotional and mental challenges that can lead them to addiction, negative influences, and even criminal behavior. Therefore, she stressed the importance of awareness and preventive measures. Additionally, she spoke about how spirituality, positive thinking, and meditation can enhance self-control and mental strength.
