Inspection of Varanasi's International Cricket Stadium Progress by District Magistrate

District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar visited the under-construction International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi, assessing the progress and quality of work. With the Damru project as the last task, he urged officials to ensure timely completion and maintain high standards. The VIP and pavilion structures are complete, and over 80% of external work is done, with expectations to finish by September. This inspection highlights the commitment to quality in the stadium's construction.
 

Site Visit by District Magistrate

On Sunday, Satyendra Kumar, the District Magistrate of Varanasi, conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing construction at the International Cricket Stadium located in Ganjari.


The project officer reported that the only remaining task is the Damru project, which is expected to be finalized by October 15. He assured that all other construction activities are nearing completion.


Assessment of Construction Quality

During his visit, the District Magistrate evaluated various sections of the stadium complex, focusing on the quality and advancement of the construction work. He urged officials to ensure that the project is completed within the designated timeline and emphasized the need to accelerate the remaining tasks while maintaining high standards.


Current Status of Construction

The inspection revealed that the VIP/South Pavilion and the West/East Pavilion have been successfully completed. Additionally, the media center and internal works are finished, and grass has been planted on the playing field.


Over 80% of the external development work has been accomplished, with expectations to finalize it by September.


Quality Assurance Measures

While addressing the officials on-site, the District Magistrate stressed the importance of not compromising on construction quality. He instructed the relevant officials to conduct regular monitoring and continuous assessment of the construction progress.
