India Condemns Journalists' Deaths in Gaza
New Delhi: On Wednesday, India expressed its shock and sorrow over the tragic deaths of five journalists due to Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
These journalists were part of a larger group of at least 20 individuals who lost their lives during the attacks on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Monday.
Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, stated, "The loss of journalists is both shocking and deeply regrettable."
He further emphasized, "India has consistently condemned the loss of civilian lives in conflict situations. We acknowledge that the Israeli government has initiated an investigation into the incident."
The airstrikes have drawn widespread international criticism.
