The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) has proudly announced the successful completion of a thrilling 2-ODI and 3-T20I Deaf Cricket Series against South Africa. This event took place at the Sinoville Cricket Club in Pretoria from April 25 to May 2, 2026. The Indian team showcased exceptional talent, achieving a clean sweep by winning all three T20I matches and both ODIs.

Celebrating Sportsmanship

The closing ceremony was graced by IDCA partners, board members, and the teams involved, marking the conclusion of a highly competitive and inspiring tournament. This series not only highlighted sporting excellence but also emphasized inclusivity and international camaraderie. A memorable moment occurred when Captain Virender Singh and IDCA President Sumit Jain presented Banu Prakash, the Acting High Commissioner, with a signed jersey and cap, symbolizing respect and unity.

IDCA Leadership Reflects on the Victory

Sumit Jain, President of IDCA, expressed pride in the team's preparation and enthusiasm for the championship. He stated, "Our players were eager to demonstrate their skills and compete for the title. Their outstanding performance reflects their dedication to bringing the trophy home to India.
