Tragic Death of Indian Student in the UK

A 25-year-old student from Telangana, identified as S Srinath Reddy, has been discovered deceased in the United Kingdom, leaving his family seeking answers regarding the unclear circumstances of his passing. Srinath, hailing from Talamadla village in Kamareddy district, had relocated to the UK approximately 14 months ago to further his education.

As per a GoFundMe campaign initiated by his cousins, Sanoj and Manish, Srinath was enrolled in a Master's program at De Montfort University in Leicester. The fundraiser aims to assist with the expenses related to repatriating his remains back to India.

His father, Madhusudan Reddy, expressed that the family has not received detailed information about the events leading to his son's death and has requested support from both the Indian and Telangana governments to expedite the process of bringing his body home.

According to family members, Srinath last communicated with them on the evening of June 22, and there were no signs of distress during that conversation. His father mentioned that Srinath had attended a birthday celebration later that night.

A relative, whose son resides in London, reported that Srinath's roommate discovered him unresponsive on the morning of June 23. The roommate allegedly informed friends that Srinath may have taken his own life. The family learned of the tragic incident through friends and acquaintances after some time.

UK authorities have yet to release any official statements regarding the case, and no details about the cause or circumstances surrounding the death have been made public. The family continues to urge officials to facilitate the swift return of Srinath's remains to India.
