Urgent Advisory for Indian Nationals in Tehran

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a critical advisory on Tuesday, urging all Indian citizens and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) to evacuate to safer locations outside the capital due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. The embassy has requested that all Indians in Tehran immediately contact them and provide their current location and contact numbers, as the conflict between Iran and Israel intensifies.


In their communication, the Indian mission has advised those who can arrange their own transportation to leave Tehran and seek safety elsewhere.


Contact Information for Indian Nationals

The embassy posted on social media, stating, 'All Indian nationals in Tehran who have not yet contacted the embassy are urged to do so immediately and provide their location and contact details. Please reach out at these numbers: +989010144557; +989128109115; +989128109109.'


This alert comes as hostilities between Israel and Iran have escalated, with attacks continuing for a fifth consecutive day.


Trump's Warning and Ministry's Response

In light of the ongoing situation, U.S. President Donald Trump has also warned Iranian citizens to leave Tehran without delay. Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi has established a 24-hour control room to monitor developments in the region.
