Indian Air Force Celebrates Legacy at IAF and EAC Cup Races

Grand Event at Royal Calcutta Turf Club

On Wednesday, the esteemed Indian Air Force (IAF) Cup and Eastern Air Command (EAC) Cup races took place at the historic Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC). These annual events, which began in 1996, celebrate the longstanding relationship between the Indian Air Force and the RCTC.


Distinguished Guests at the Event

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, PVSM, AVSM, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), attended as the Chief Guest, presenting the prestigious IAF Cup to the winning horse. The EAC Cup was awarded by Air Marshal Inderpal Singh Walia, AVSM, VM, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command.


A Display of Unity and Celebration

The event was marked by enthusiastic participation, with senior officials from the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard present, highlighting the solidarity among India's armed forces.
