'Our partnership has withstood various transitions and challenges,' he noted during a weekly media briefing.

Jaiswal expressed confidence that both nations would continue to advance their relationship, focusing on the substantive agenda they have committed to.

When asked about defense relations between India and the US, he highlighted the robust defense collaboration that has been fortified over recent years, indicating potential for further growth.

Regarding India's energy procurement strategy, Jaiswal stated that it is primarily driven by national interests, guided by market offerings and the current global landscape.
