India Responds to Pakistan's Allegations

New Delhi: On Sunday, India firmly rejected Pakistan's accusations linking it to an attack on a military facility in Karachi that resulted in the deaths of four paramilitary personnel. Officials emphasized that Pakistan should focus on addressing the terrorist networks operating within its borders.

According to reports from Islamabad, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized six militants and apprehended one alive while thwarting an attack on a Sindh Rangers compound in Karachi on Saturday night.

This incident marked the first significant terrorist attack in Karachi since October 2024, prompting certain factions within the Pakistani government to suggest an Indian connection.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, "We have observed the unfounded allegations made by Pakistan regarding the recent events in Karachi. We categorically dismiss these claims. Instead of casting blame on others, Pakistan should introspect and take effective measures against the terrorist infrastructure present on its soil, moving away from its reliance on terrorism as a tool of state policy."

Jaiswal's remarks were made in response to inquiries from the media.

In the wake of the attack, Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident and alleged, without providing evidence, that India was involved.
