India's Strong Performance on Day Two

Ahmedabad: At the end of day two in the first Test against the West Indies, India posted a formidable score of 448 for five, extending their lead to 286 runs, thanks to impressive centuries from KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja, who scored 104 runs, and Washington Sundar, who remained at 9, were at the crease when play concluded. The partnership between Jadeja and Jurel was particularly noteworthy, as they combined for a remarkable 206 runs for the fifth wicket, placing India in a commanding position.

This match marked Jurel's first Test century at just 24 years of age.

Earlier in the innings, KL Rahul contributed significantly with a century of his own, scoring 100 runs before being dismissed.

India began the day at 121 for 2 but lost their captain Shubman Gill, who scored 50, during the first session. Rahul was dismissed shortly after the lunch interval.

On day one, India had bowled out the West Indies for just 162 runs.
