India Celebrates Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla's Historic ISS Mission

On Wednesday, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, expressed that astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla's journey to the International Space Station (ISS) marks a proud moment for India. He emphasized that the insights gained from this experience will be invaluable for the country's upcoming Gaganyaan mission.
Meanwhile, Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya remarked that Group Captain Shukla's expedition has added a glorious chapter to India's space history. In a post on social media, Sarma stated, 'India has reached new heights in space. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla's journey to the ISS is a moment of pride for our nation and a significant achievement in the realm of space exploration.'
He further noted that the experiences gained by the Indian Air Force pilot during his space journey will play a crucial role in the future Gaganyaan mission. Acharya added in his post, 'Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla's space mission under Axiom Mission 4 represents a new flight of India's scientific capabilities and the dreams and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians.'
Acharya also highlighted that boundaries exist only on maps, while humanity's potential and aspirations are limitless. This mission, which includes astronauts from India, the USA, Poland, and Hungary, conveys precisely this message.
