India B Team Triumphs in Inaugural T20 Champions Trophy for Deaf Cricket
Historic Conclusion of the T20 Champions Trophy
The inaugural T20 Champions Trophy for Deaf cricket, organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) with backing from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has successfully concluded. This event, recognized by the Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) and the Asian Deaf Cricket Association (ADCA), took place at the Bharat Nagar Cricket Ground in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. The India B team emerged victorious, defeating India D by 32 runs after setting a target of 139 runs, finishing their innings at 107/8.
This tournament also served as a selection opportunity for the Indian Deaf Team, which is set to compete in the Deaf-ICC ODI Men's World Cup in the UAE in October 2026.
Hosted by the Deaf Cricket Society, Delhi (DCS), the week-long championship showcased the skills of talented hearing-impaired cricketers from across India.

- Player of the Match (Final): Kuldeep Singh - India B
- Best Batsman of the Series: Sudarsun E - India C
- Best Bowler of the Series: Virender Singh - India B
- Player of the Series: Suhail Ahmed - India D
IDCA President Celebrates the Event's Success
Sumit Jain, the President of IDCA, expressed his pride in the championship, stating that the IDCA T20 Champions Trophy for the Deaf is more than just a competition; it represents a movement that honors the spirit, resilience, and talent of hearing-impaired athletes.
