A capital market cooperation agreement has been established between the two nations, with Cyprus's Elinas Finance becoming the first foreign company to be listed in GIFT City. Additionally, the Indian digital payment system UPI is set to launch in Cyprus next year, enhancing financial connectivity between the two countries.

Strategic Corridor and Regional Connectivity

Cyprus's role is also deemed vital in the context of the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor, an ambitious connectivity project linking India with West Asia and Europe.
