The game took place on Thursday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where India triumphed with a solid 40-run win. In response, Bangladesh managed only 109 runs for seven wickets, resulting in a straightforward victory for India. India's innings began on a rocky note, losing their first wicket for just nine runs at the end of the second over, with star opener Smriti Mandhana scoring only two runs. However, Shafali Verma stepped up, delivering an outstanding performance with the bat, scoring 64 runs off just 40 balls. Pratika Rawal, batting at number three, contributed 24 runs, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur remained not out on 24. Richa Ghosh added 21 runs, and Deepti Sharma chipped in with 13 runs.
