The Indian cricket team has reached the 400-run milestone in One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the eighth time, tying with South Africa for the most such totals. This remarkable feat was accomplished against Afghanistan during the second ODI, where India posted an impressive total of 402 runs all out in just 49.5 overs.


England and Australia Follow Suit

Following India and South Africa, England has achieved seven 400-plus totals in ODIs, while Australia ranks third with three such scores. Notably, India's highest ODI score stands at 418/5, achieved against the West Indies in 2011.


Centuries from Gill and Ishan Propel India

In the match, Afghanistan chose to bowl first. However, centuries from captain Shubman Gill, who scored 154 runs off 110 balls with 22 fours and 2 sixes, and Ishan Kishan, who made 125 runs off 79 balls with 14 fours and 7 sixes, propelled India to their total of 402 all out.
